The Saints basketball club originated in November 1959 with just one senior men’s team, since then it has grown, developing up to 40 teams across all ages, starting from under twelve juniors right through to the veterans senior competition.
The Saints are one of the founding clubs in the Dandenong Basketball Association and have enjoyed many successes with our players representing both Victoria and Australia. The Saints spirit is legendary and can be traced right back to our inaugural A Grade women’s team. The Saints A grade women won 11 grand finals in succession, this club spirit is still evident today and is what makes the Saints the powerful force it is in the Dandenong Basketball community.

All Saints coaching staff are required to have current “working with children” accreditation. Coaching staff must carry with them an approval card which has been issued by the Department of Justice.
Volunteers must sign and abide by the Saints Basketball Club code of conduct which is administered by the current committee.
